The Stratford Police Department Narcotics Unit, along with the Bridgeport Police Department T.N.T. Unit, arrested Carlos Seda, age 45, after serving a search warrant for his residence located at 210 Fifth St., in Bridgeport. The arrest occurred on Jan. 7.
The warrant and arrest stem from a three-month-long investigation into drug sales in Stratford. Seda was the subject of that investigation and found to be selling heroin in town. When the warrant was served at the residence, investigators found that Seda was in possession of a handgun and illegal prescription medications.
Seda was charged with sales of narcotics, criminal possession of a pistol, illegal manufacturing, selling prescription medication, and criminal possession of a firearm.
Seda was held on a $100,000 bond.
