A driver was able to escape from a vehicle that came to rest under a tractor-trailer on I-95 Thursday morning, Jan. 30.
Stratford Fire Department Engine 1, Engine 3, Ladder 1, TAC 5 and the shift commander were dispatched to I-95 south between exits 31 and 30 at 9:25 a.m. for a reported rollover.
Firefighters found the vehicle under the truck’s trailer. The driver was out of the car, and was taken to the hospital by Stratford EMS.
The right and center lanes of the highway were temporarily closed.
