Stratford, Trumbull and Torrington police officers visited ABC Childcare & Learning Center on Broadbridge Avenue on Aug. 5, to demonstrate the advantages of K-9 officers and to allow the children to get a hands-on experience with a police car.
The demonstrating officers included Stratford officers Kevin Albohn, Jim Iannucci and Rachel Crosby.
Crosby displayed a search-and-find exercise with her canine partner Bravo.
From Trumbull Police were Deputy Chief Glen Byrnes and officers David Skoog, Robert Schwartz and Thomas Richards.
The Trumbull officers came with their police motorcycles which the kids got to sit on.
Officer Daniel Cyr represented the Torrington Police.
Many of the officers are parents of children attending ABC.
