Stratford Police arrested two local residents on Sept. 29 for fraudulently obtaining services from United Illuminating Company.
Following a joint investigation between the Stratford Police and United Illuminating Company, Autumn Frimpter, 40, and Travarus Jones, 40, both of Stratford were arrested by warrant for allegedly taking service under the names of minor children and defrauding United Illuminating of $3,492 in services.

Frimpter and Jones were both charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny.
They were held on $20,000 dollars bond.
