Stratford Police is asking the community to be on the lookout and report suspicious activity as there has been “recent rash of residential burglaries in town,” according to a media alert.
The most recent events have occurred in neighborhoods between Huntington Road and Broadbridge Avenue, according to police Lt. Frank Eannotti, and “suspect(s) have been cutting wires to homes prior to forcing entry.”
Residents are urged take note of gender, approximate age, clothing description and any vehicles that may be involved when reporting suspicious activity. Suspicious incidents or persons can be reported to the police dispatch center 203-385-4100.
Investigations into the burglaries are ongoing at this time.
