Two Bridgeport men and a Monroe woman were arrested after a four-mouth-long investigation into drug sales in Stratford.

Stratford Police said the investigation began in September of 2014 and documented “numerous” sales of narcotics in Stratford and Bridgeport by 40-year-old Paul Lee and 59-year-old Gregorio Perez, both of Bridgeport, and 32-year-old Jennifer Kelly of Monroe.

Working with Bridgeport Police, Stratford investigators served a search warrant at 144 Wade Street in Bridgeport Jan. 18. Police said they found more than 214.5 grams of heroin and arrested Lee and Kelly.

Lee was charged with sale of heroin. Bond was set at $100,000.

Kelly faces the same charge. Her bond was set at $50,000.

Perez evaded police, but on Jan. 28 was tracked by Stratford Police to 241 Meadows End Road in Monroe, Kelly’s address, after Kelly reportedly admitted to them that she hid Perez there so he could avoid arrest.

Stratford police, along with Kelly and Monroe Police, went to the Monroe address and found Perez inside.

Kelly was additionally charged with hindering prosecution and possession of methadone. Her bond on those charges was set at $200,000.

Perez was charged with sale of heroin, sale of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school and conspiracy to sell narcotics. Bond was set at $500,000.

Lee was also charged by warrant for sale of narcotics (heroin), sale of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school, conspiracy to sell narcotics and driving with a suspended license. He was held on a $50,000 dollar bond.

During the operation more that 242 grams of heroin and liquid methadone were seized, police said.
