Edwin Rivera
Edwin Rivera, age 37, of Bridgeport, was arrested Feb. 7 for attempting to sell marijuana to an undercover officer at the Stratford Hotel and Conference Center. Rivera made contact with the officer and attempted to sell the officer approximately $50 worth of marijuana.
During this arrest, officers found that Rivera was also in possession of an electronic stun gun. Rivera was charged with sale of a controlled substance and carrying a dangerous weapon.
Rivera posted bond and was released.
